San Bernardino — December 23, 2025 — As the countdown to Christmas reaches its final hours, SAC Health hosted its annual Christmas Toy Giveaway on Tuesday, December 23. Organizers distributed toys to a projected crowd of over 500 local children, with supplies and logistics in place to serve up to 1,000 kids if turnout exceeds expectations

To handle the large volume of families expected just two days before Christmas, organizers designated the giveaway as a drive-thru event. This format was designed to streamline the distribution process, preventing foot traffic congestion and ensuring that hundreds of families could be served efficiently in a short amount of time.

The event was aimed to alleviate financial stress for families during the holiday season and ensure that every child in the community has a gift to open on Christmas morning.

"We know the holidays can be a stressful time for families, especially this close to Christmas," said Teri Lay Community Resource Program Liaison at SAC Health’s Community Resource Center. “Our goal today is simple: to make sure no child is left out. We are expecting at least 500 kids, but thanks to the incredible generosity of community partners and donors, we are ready to put smiles on the faces of up to 1,000!"
