SAN BERNARDINO, CA., JULY 15, 2026 — SAC Health, the largest specialty-based and teaching Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in the nation, has opened its newest medical clinic at Pacific High School in San Bernardino. Developed in partnership with the San Bernardino City Unified School District (SBCUSD), the clinic welcomed its first patients on July 6, 2026.

Located directly on Pacific High School’s campus at 1020 E Pacific St., Ste. B, San Bernardino, CA 92404, the clinic will serve as a convenient school-based health clinic and resource for students and will be fully accessible to the surrounding community.

The creation of the Pacific High School clinic reflects SAC Health's ongoing initiative to remove barriers to care by meeting families where they are. By providing direct access to medical services on school grounds, the clinic aims to ensure students stay healthy, minimize school absences, and thrive both in and out of the classroom.

The clinic will offer essential services to patients of all ages, including:

●      Primary Care / Family Medicine: Accessible, coordinated care for everyday health needs and chronic disease management.

●      Pediatric Care & Pediatric Specialties: Dedicated healthcare tailored to support children's growth, development, routine immunizations, and sports physicals.

●      Behavioral Health: Compassionate, professional support for mental and emotional wellness, helping students and families navigate life's challenges.

"We believe health should never be a barrier to a child's education," said Dr. Jason Lohr, CEO of SAC Health. "By bringing primary and behavioral care directly to the doorstep of our students, we are ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive in the classroom and grow into a healthy leader of tomorrow."

Superintendent Mauricio Arellano said the partnership is a powerful example of SBCUSD's Vision 2030 in action. “At SBCUSD, we know students thrive when they are healthy, supported and surrounded by a community that invests in their success. This partnership with SAC Health reflects our Vision 2030 commitment to being SBCUSD Strong by working alongside students, families, staff and community partners to remove barriers to learning and ensure every child has access to the care and wellness resources they need to reach their full potential.”

While uniquely situated to serve the student body, the clinic is deeply rooted in community health. It will welcome residents from the broader San Bernardino neighborhood, accepting Medi-Cal and offering a sliding fee scale to ensure that uninsured and underinsured patients can receive quality care.
