Healthy, and Self-sustaining

Welcome to The Community Resource Center

Our Community Resource Specialists are here to assist you in navigating today’s challenges. We will greet you with compassion, encouragement, education and supportive services. Our goal is to empower families to reach self-sustainability. We offer this free service to all our patients and individuals/families in the community. Please identify the service that applies to your need during your visit or call:

  • Assistance with applying for County Benefit Programs
    Cal Fresh, Cal Works/ Cash Aid, MediCal though C4yourself.
  • Computer Lab
    Available for assistance with job search, resume assistance, applying for Social Security Benefits; SSI, SDI, SSDI, UI, other business related task.
  • Food Pantry
    We have a small food pantry, which enables CRC to provide families with an emergency food bag to help for the next day or so. We will provide a list of food banks in the community that will be able to provide food on a continual basis.
  • Diapers
    We assist with a one-time emergency supply of diapers (based on availability). We will also refer you to community organizations that may be able to help you in the future.
  • Classes
    Diabetes education, post-partum support group, smoking cessation, and healthy weight lost classes as interest is expressed/or resources will be given about available classes in the community.
  • Breastfeeding
    Education and resources are available.
  • Child Passenger Safety Program
    Services include a car seat assessment and education. Additional resources provided if child safety seat is inappropriate for child.
  • Domestic Violence/Abuse
    Education and resources are available.
  • Bottomless bookshelf for kids
    Variety of books available.
