Our clinicians use evidence-based approaches to help patients build coping skills, improve daily functioning, strengthen relationships, and work toward meaningful goals.

Addiction Recovery Clinic
Medication-Assisted Treatment and Recovery Support
SAC Health’s Addiction Recovery Clinic (ARC) provides comprehensive outpatient treatment for individuals experiencing substance use concerns and addiction-related disorders. Our team includes addiction-trained physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, substance use counselors, and case management professionals who work together to support long-term recovery and wellness.
We provide treatment and support for individuals struggling with opioid use, alcohol use, marijuana use, nicotine dependence, and other substance use or addiction-related concerns. Services are individualized and designed to support both recovery and overall behavioral health needs.
Our program includes medication-assisted treatment, counseling, recovery support services, and care coordination in one integrated setting. Evidence shows that combining medication with counseling and supportive services can improve recovery outcomes and long-term stability.
Treatment options may include medications such as Suboxone®, Sublocade™, Brixadi™, Vivitrol®, and other medications that help reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms.
Patients may also participate in individual therapy, substance use counseling, and group support focused on relapse prevention, stress management, coping skills, and addressing the underlying factors that contribute to addiction and recovery challenges.
Group Treatment Options
Group services may include Seeking Safety™ - an evidence-based treatment model designed for individuals experiencing both trauma-related symptoms and substance use concerns. This approach focuses on safety, emotional regulation, coping skills, and practical strategies to support recovery.

Getting Started with Behavioral Health Services
Patients can access Behavioral Health services at SAC Health through a self-referral or referral from their primary care provider or healthcare team. To help ensure patients are connected with the provider and level of care that best meets their needs, new patients are asked to complete an intake appointment prior to beginning ongoing behavioral health services. During this visit, our team reviews current concerns, relevant history, background information, intake paperwork, and program policies to help determine the most appropriate treatment approach and support services.
If, during the intake process, it is determined that additional support beyond traditional outpatient behavioral health services may be beneficial, or if SAC Health is unable to meet a patient’s specific treatment needs, our team will help support continuity of care by connecting patients with appropriate community resources and ongoing support services. We offer care coordination support through programs and services such as Enhanced Care Management (ECM), Patient Navigation, Care Coordinators, and Case Management to help patients access the resources and support they may need throughout their treatment journey.
Once established as a behavioral health patient, individuals may be connected with ongoing therapy, psychiatry, integrated care services, group support, or other specialized behavioral health programs based on their needs and treatment goals.
Patients who have not been seen in our clinic for more than six months may be asked to complete a new intake appointment to ensure we have the most current information and to assess whether treatment goals, psychosocial stressors, or care needs have changed over time.
Individuals who are unable to continue treatment or keep scheduled appointments are always welcome to re-establish care in the future when they are ready to return to services.
Please note that the intake process is not required for patients seeking Addiction Recovery Clinic (ARC) services or medication-assisted treatment.
Telehealth and Virtual Services
Telehealth (virtual) appointments may be available for certain Behavioral Health services to help improve access to care and provide flexibility for patients. The availability and appropriateness of telehealth services are based on clinical appropriateness and collaborative decision-making between the patient and provider. Some services may require in-person visits, particularly during the initial assessment process to help determine the most appropriate treatment approach and level of care. Patients living in more rural areas or those unable to travel to clinic locations may be eligible for virtual appointments. Please discuss telehealth needs and availability with your provider.
SAC Health Behavioral Health services are outpatient-based and are not a crisis or emergency service. Patients experiencing a mental health emergency should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
