What Is Spiritual Care?

Spiritual care is an aspect of healthcare that supports the spirit and soul to help deal with the health challenges that you or your loved one is facing. Spiritual care helps patients find ways to cope with illness, loss, grief or pain. Our SAC Health chaplains help support our patients in addressing life questions. We hope to transform their lives through Christ's hope and healing.
Rooted in the compassionate ministry of Jesus Christ, we provide a safe space for healing, support, and hope, while empowering patients and our community to live with wholeness. During every visit, our patients are offered the opportunity to meet with a Chaplain in person or by phone. Spiritual Care Services are offered at all our SAC Health locations.

We serve all journeys of faith. If you have specific religious needs, we will try to find you an appropriate religious leader. Not only are our services non-denominational, but we also minister to patients without religious affiliations. We aim to foster spiritual wholeness and help you on your faith and spiritual journey.
